Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Neurolink Academy exists to make therapy accessible to the families who are most often turned away. We hold this website to the same value. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a floor, not a ceiling, and we treat accessibility as part of every page we build, not a checklist at the end.
What we build in
- Readable contrast. Body text is held at or above a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, with most text well beyond it.
- Full keyboard access. Every interactive element can be reached and operated by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Structure screen readers can use. One heading per page at the top level, logical heading order, labelled form fields, and meaningful alternative text on images.
- Color is never the only signal. Status and eligibility information pairs color with icons and text, so nothing depends on distinguishing hues.
- Respect for reduced motion. Every animation on this site has a calm alternative for visitors whose systems request reduced motion.
- Plain language. We write at a 6th-to-8th-grade reading level and define every acronym on first use, because cognitive accessibility is accessibility.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as the embedded map on our contact page, is provided by outside services whose accessibility we do not fully control. Where third-party content falls short, the same information is always available in an accessible form nearby (for the map, our written address and a directions link).
Found a barrier? Tell us.
If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, or anything is unclear, we genuinely want to know, and we will fix what we can quickly. Email info@neurolinkacademy.com, call 612-464-4132, or use the contact page. If the website does not work for you at all, a phone call accomplishes everything the site does, including starting intake.
